Job Responsibilities
The Role is for System Engineer based in Razer SEA HQ office
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Continuously optimize existing system performance and security
- Responsible for day-to-day Operations and administration of system infrastructure
- Responsibilities for this role include maintaining the security posture, identifying, and remediating vulnerabilities by using a variety of security tools, implementing threat protection, and responding to security incident escalations.
- Responsible for the day-to-day Operations and administration of systems infrastructure.
- Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance to ensure high availability of the systems including the use of suitable monitoring systems to preempt or quickly resolve any network issues including appropriate security and back-up processes.
- Server administration, monitoring and maintenance that includes tasks such as creation of new users, server patch management, server upgrade and updates etc.
- Enforce policies, procedures, and standards e.g Incident Management and Change Management within the team.
- Facilitate high level functional specifications discussion and participate in system integration testing with Infrastructure and Application team.
- Support ad-hoc IT project deployment (migration, setting up new antivirus software, change of equipment etc.)
- Install, support and maintain for IT software system such as Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online, Windows 11 etc.
- Monitoring and remediation of risk events from Azure and Office 365 security and compliance dashboards.
- Assist in implementing and managing security controls, identity and access management, and data protection across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Support the monitoring of security tools and dashboards (e.g., Azure Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Defender) to identify and report vulnerabilities and threats.
- Collaborate with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team to respond to basic security incidents and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Provide support in maintaining Office 365 security configurations, including Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Intune MDM policies.
- Participate in ongoing security projects and contribute to documentation and testing efforts.
- Help administer network and security infrastructure under supervision, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Assist in conducting routine security audits and compliance checks.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of incident response documentation.
- Work with senior team members to implement security solutions aligned with business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior staff.
Requirements
- Good working knowledge of infrastructure monitoring.
- Good knowledge of network and server security best practices.
- Experience with servers administration
- Good working knowledge in Microsoft Technologies (Windows 10 /11, Office 365, Windows Server OS, Sharepoint, Microsoft SQL, Office Suite)
- Must be a team player with positive attitude.
- Must enjoy and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
