Systems engineer - Field Support

This role supports, configures, and maintains physical security systems including CCTV, card access, and integrated security platforms, with strong emphasis on IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include server and network setup, IP addressing, VLAN configuration, system hardening, backup, patching, and troubleshooting. The role requires solid knowledge on servers, networking, cybersecurity best practices and system integration. Works closely with maintenance teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable physical security solutions.

• To support physical security systems such as CCTV, card access, and integrated security solutions

• Install, configure, and maintain servers supporting security applications and databases

• Perform IP addressing, network segmentation, and VLAN configuration for security systems

• Manage server including system hardening, patching, and backup

• Configure and troubleshoot network switches, firewalls, and related IT infrastructure

• Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning activities

• Conduct fault diagnosis and provide timely resolution of system and network issues

• Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and configuration records

Requirements: Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in IT or related field with experience in CCTV and card access systems. Strong skills in Windows Server, networking, cybersecurity, and system integration are required. The role demands independent troubleshooting, good documentation, teamwork with stakeholders, and willingness to provide after-office-hours standby support when activated
