Systems Architect PM

Our client is seeking a senior technical lead responsible for end-to-end battery pack system delivery, from architecture definition through validation and mass production. The position combines systems engineering leadership, customer-facing technical ownership, and program execution to deliver safe, high-performance, and manufacturable battery solutions in partnership with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.

• Own the overall battery pack system architecture, covering electrical, mechanical, thermal, BMS/firmware, and safety domains.
• Translate customer and business requirements into clear, traceable system and component specifications to Subcon.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers, leading architecture reviews, requirement alignment, and risk discussions.
• Drive cross-functional program execution from concept to production, ensuring schedule, technical, and delivery alignment.
• Align pack designs with internal cell performance, safety limits, and manufacturing readiness.
• Provide technical oversight to external pack assembly partners, ensuring design-for-manufacturing and quality expectations are met.
• Lead system-level verification and validation activities to support certification and customer release.
• Identify and mitigate technical, manufacturing, and supply-chain risks throughout development and production ramp.
  

Requirements

• Expertise in battery systems, systems engineering lithium-ion cells, BMS, thermal management, and safety design. Experience with high end electronics market e.g. Glass, Cellphones etc.
