You will manage and support the Hospital Information System (HIS) and related clinical and ancillary systems, collaborating with users and vendors to deliver effective IT solutions that meet hospital operational needs and improve patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to gather user requirements and manage HIS implementation ensuring timely delivery aligned with user needs
- Provide daily support and enhancements for hospital information, clinical, and ancillary systems to maintain operational efficiency
- Assist senior system analyst in supporting and implementing the main Hospital Information System to ensure system reliability
- Maintain and perform light development on in-house application systems to support hospital functions
- Guide IT Support Officers/Executives to ensure effective maintenance of hospital information systems
- Coordinate with vendors on project implementation, application testing, and updates following project methodologies and policies
- Work closely with process owners and users to integrate technical and application components, identifying solutions that meet business process requirements
- Research, source, and recommend innovative IT functionalities and solutions that add value to hospital operations
- Undertake additional projects and assignments as required to support hospital IT objectives
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in application development and IT project management, preferably 5 years
- Technical knowledge in Microsoft .NET framework, SQL, Microsoft Access, and mobile development
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within teams
- Familiarity with latest IT gadgets, products, and solutions
- Experience or interest in local healthcare IT systems
- Experience supporting SAP (ECC 6.0, MM, ISH, and FICO) applications
- Keen interest in mobile and web programming
