Yumstone eSolutions Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based technology solutions provider specialising in F&B POS systems, QR ordering platforms, payment integrations, and IT infrastructure deployment.
We are seeking a System Engineer to provide first-level technical support for our POS systems and IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will assist in system installation, troubleshooting, and customer support to ensure smooth operations for our clients in the F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for POS systems and related IT infrastructure.
- Install and configure POS terminals, receipt printers, kitchen printers, and payment devices.
- Assist in network setup including routers, switches, and WiFi access points.
- Perform system troubleshooting and basic fault diagnosis.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Assist in system deployment and on-site installation for new customers.
- Conduct routine system checks and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation.
- Provide remote support via phone, remote desktop, or support tools.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, WiFi, routers).
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and customer service attitude.
- Able to travel within Singapore for on-site support.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL Server.
- Experience supporting POS systems or retail IT systems.
- Familiarity with remote support tools.
- Basic hardware troubleshooting skills.
Work Arrangement
- 5-day work week.
- May be required to support after-hours deployment or maintenance when necessary.
