Responsibilities

Provide operational excellence and skills for OS and system software to support various project phases (requirement gathering, design, implementation, UAT, hand-over to operations and documentation)Respond to support emails, phone calls and alert notifications in a timely manner and complete all necessary follow-up and duty handover actions.Propose improvements, solutions to process, procedures.Documentation of process, procedures, projects, system configuration and meeting minutes.Design, plan, setup or migrate on prem servers/services/applications to cloud based solutions.Escalate, track and resolve all service request and issues in a timely manner. Must be proactive and possess a sense of urgency.Be the L2 or L3 person to troubleshoot and analyze problems, before escalating to vendors and work to resolve problems with minimum impact. Able to perform root cause analysis and proposed/implement actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in IT/Bachelor DegreeMinimum of 3 years of IT working experience.Knowledge in design, setup and managing of Hyper-V, VMware (6.5, 6.7, 7.0) and Virtual Infrastructure. Good to have - Experience in migration or upgrade.Knowledge of patch management and hands-on in patching, upgrade of both hardware devices and software/applications.Knowledge of backup technologies such as CommVault, Veeam, Acronis etc. Be able to configure and troubleshoot issues related to backup.Knowledge of Antivirus/Security products such as SEP, Sophos, TrendMicro etc.Able to manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, hardening for Windows 2012, 2016, 2019Certification in Microsoft, VMware, ITIL 3.0, Veem, Azure etc.Have knowledge of networking technology, architecture, firewall, switches, storage etc.Able to multi-task, communicate well, organize and be team playerWilling to travel to customer site for deployment, meetings etc. (Within SG)Rack & mount servers, devices in data centresWilling to be deployed to customer sites for periods of time if needed toPerform tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Good to have

Hands-on experience in O365 Administration, Azure or AWSLinux/ Redhat, SAN storage (EMC, Hitachi, NetApp), SQL (MsSQL, MongoDB)Scripting such as Powershell, jscript etcMigration of AD, Exchange, data from on-prem to cloud
