We are looking for a skilled System Engineer (Linux) to join our Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will manage and support Linux-based systems across on-premises and cloud environments while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support scalable and secure Linux-based infrastructure solutions.
- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Monitor and maintain system health, performance, and security across datacentres and cloud platforms.
- Manage infrastructure and security tools (e.g., ManageEngine, encryption, key management).
- Configure and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Deploy and maintain cloud services (compute, containers, serverless, networking, storage, security).
- Support middleware platforms, WAF, CDN, ALB/NLB, and NetScaler.
- Install and manage Linux/UNIX servers in on-prem and cloud environments.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for Linux/UNIX issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, network, and application deployment issues.
- Maintain documentation on system configurations and processes.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing Linux-based environments.
- Strong proficiency in Linux administration (RHEL preferred).
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Lambda functions, and backup tools.
- Familiarity with Windows Server (added advantage).
- Good understanding of AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with VMware/Hyper-V virtualization.
- Solid grasp of cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and systems management tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Certifications such as RHEL, AWS Solutions Architect, MCSA/MCSE are a plus.
