Job Description:
- Administer systems and servers related to the network ensuring availability of services to authorized users.
- Document and assist in server maintenance to adhere to policies and audit requirements
- Assist in the Development, implementation, and maintain the processes and documentation for network/server systems.
- Backup system administration.
- Domain name and certificate management (i.e. SSL certificates)
- Manage network/server services and documentation (e.g. active directory, back-up) configuration, customer SLAs, disaster recovery, DNS, email, inventory, IP address schema, network traffic monitoring, remote access management, systems security, IT service records, and vendor SLAs)
Traits expected (Candidates to be assessed based on these areas):
- IT infrastructure day to day management experience.
- Logical thinking, troubleshooting experience.
- Domain name management and DNS administration
At least 6-7 of the traits and experiences on the following:
- Hands on Windows, Linux and VMware server management
- Hands on management of LAN and SAN management
- Hands on Windows Active Directory, Patch management, Group policy management
- Hands on Backup and Recovery management
- Hands on end-user (Windows/Linux server) support
- Basic audit-compliance management, server and networking monitoring, log management
- Knowledge of computer security, authentication services, domain certificate administration
- Cloud infrastructure management knowledge
- Vendor management (case escalation and projects)
- Privileged account access management
Advantageous optional skills and experience
- Hands on Routers and switches setup, configuration and troubleshooting
- Infrastructure support for servers running application systems
