System Engineer / IT Technician

Job Summary
The System Engineer / IT Technician will support Linux systems, onsite AI hardware, and basic MySQL operations. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, system monitoring, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure reliable IT and AI infrastructure performance. The position requires night shift work and offers exposure to enterprise-scale systems, making it suitable for fresh graduates or early-career professionals.

Responsibilities

System and Hardware Support:
. Provide day-to-day Linux system support, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
. Perform onsite support for AI hardware, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and issue resolution.
. Assist in system monitoring, incident handling, and escalation when required.

Database Support:
. Handle basic MySQL operations such as queries, updates, and troubleshooting.

. Support database performance checks and backup processes.

General Duties:
. Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incidents.
. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution.

Requirements

. Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents only

. Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field (for System Engineer role)

. ITE Certificate in Computer Science, IT, or related field (for IT Technician role)

. Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of IT experience welcome

. Knowledge or hands-on experience with Linux systems.

. Familiarity with MySQL and database fundamentals.

. Interest or exposure to AI hardware support preferred.

. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

. Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

. Willingness to commit to rotating night shift work.
