System Engineer

The System Engineer (Junior DevOps) is responsible for supporting and maintaining containerized platforms, primarily Kubernetes (K8s) clusters. The role also involves provisioning new Kubernetes clusters for new projects, collaborating with the Wintel team on Active Directory (AD) and SOX-related Risk and Control Matrix (RCM) activities, and supporting ongoing IT security and compliance reviews.

Key Responsibilities

. Maintain, monitor, and support existing Kubernetes (K8s) clusters to ensure stability, availability, and performance.

. Provision and configure new Kubernetes clusters to support new projects and business requirements.

. Support CI/CD and DevOps operational activities in a junior capacity, following established standards and best practices.

. Perform routine cluster upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery activities.

. Collaborate closely with application teams to support containerized workloads.

. Work with the Wintel team to support Active Directory (AD) related tasks, including SOX Risk and Control Matrix (RCM) evidence and controls.

. Participate in regular IT security reviews and compliance checks.

. Ensure systems and platforms comply with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.

. Document system configurations, procedures, and operational changes.

. Assist in incident and problem resolution related to system, platform, or DevOps environments.

Required Skills & Experience

. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.

. 1-3years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or infrastructure support roles.

. Hands-one xperience or strong exposure to Kubernetes (K8s)

. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts.

. Understanding of Active Directory fundamentals and Windows server environments.

. Awareness of IT security, compliance, and audit requirements (e.g., SOX).

. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

. Willingness to learn and grow in a DevOps and cloud-native environment.
