Job Summary
As an ICIT (Installation, Checkout, Integration and Testing) Engineer, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assemble, test, and deploy complex systems and equipment, driving project success through technical expertise and proactive problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Support System Lead and Team Lead in executing Installation, Checkout, Integration, and Testing (ICIT) activities to ensure project milestones are met with quality and efficiency
- Participate in sea trials to validate system performance and support deployment of equipment in operational environments
- Collaborate with System Lead, Team Lead, and Service Managers to achieve SLA and KPI targets aligned with maintenance contractual agreements
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance following established instructions and procedures to maintain system reliability
- Diagnose faults accurately and provide actionable recommendations for corrective or remedial actions to leadership
- Deliver client training on system and hardware integration procedures, implementation, and operational use to enhance customer competence
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve issues in a dynamic work environment
- Liaise with Procurement and equipment vendors to ensure timely availability and quality of required materials and tools
- Provide engineering services that support system functionality and project objectives
- Organize and conduct monthly meetings with customers to review project progress and address concerns
- Travel to multiple sites within Singapore to perform on-site tasks and support project deployment
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent discipline
- Prior experience performing system-level maintenance and ICIT activities
- Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field
- Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certifications such as Work-at-Height and Forklift Operator
