Job Summary
Our client, a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer, seeks a System Engineer Expert, with a combined background in opto-mechatronics, system architecture, high-precision equipment, and bonding/packaging equipment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and design product requirements, system architecture, and module functions to determine technical solutions and evaluate changes effectively.
- Design, verify, and implement feasible product configuration schemes to meet performance and quality standards.
- Conduct system-level analysis of product issues and develop practical solutions to ensure product reliability.
- Define product standards, develop Common Building Blocks (CBB), manage patents, and provide system-level scheme support to enhance product innovation.
- Lead the definition of sub-domain technical interfaces and coordinate technical conflict resolution across teams.
- Track and address key R&D challenges within sub-technology domains through thorough product technical reviews.
- Support debugging and verification of process design parameters to optimize product performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives addressing common field issues at the design stage to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Master's degree or higher with over 8 years of R&D experience in the opto-mechatronics industry.
- Proficient in motion control systems with hands-on development experience in high-precision mechanical structure design, control system design, or optical system design.
- Demonstrated system design thinking with strong cross-team communication and coordination skills.
- Practical experience in system development for hybrid bonding, thermocompression bonding, wafer bonding, or packaging equipment.
- Proven success in projects involving nanometer-level alignment, high-precision motion, and opto-mechatronic integration.
- Experience leading CBB development, platformization, standardization, and managing patent portfolios.
- Background in semiconductor equipment New Product Introduction (NPI), mass production ramp-up, and resolving field issues.
