Job Summary
Our client, a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer, seeks a Precision Motion Control Expert to design and optimize real-time control systems and high-precision automation for advanced semiconductor machinery.
Responsibilities
- Design architecture, control strategies, and algorithms for real-time control systems to meet KPIs including performance, stability, and robustness in complex environments
- Develop, implement, and maintain motion controller software and related applications for precision machinery
- Create machine control strategies, processes, and algorithms to automate and manage machine state transitions in high-precision automation systems
- Debug systems and analyze issues during commissioning to ensure smooth operation
- Optimize systems through system identification, performance evaluation, jitter and vibration suppression, and interference mitigation
- Conduct complex dynamics simulation analyses including modal analysis, vibration transfer path analysis, and vibration damping optimization for mechanical systems
- Apply servo motor control algorithms and parameter tuning to enhance electromechanical dynamic system performance and control optimization
- Lead projects involving nanometer-level positioning, macro-micro motion coordination, dual-axis synchronization, and high-acceleration precision control
- Utilize simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, ADAMS, and ANSYS to support design and optimization activities
Required competencies and certifications
- Master's degree or higher in Automation, Control Engineering, or related fields
- Over 10 years of experience in motion control for semiconductor equipment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with mechanical vibration theory and vibration testing/analysis methods
- Hands-on experience in precision motion control for hybrid bonding, wafer bonding, packaging, lithography, or inspection equipment
- Proficiency in servo motor control algorithms and electromechanical dynamic system simulation
- Experience with simulation tools including MATLAB/Simulink, ADAMS, and ANSYS
