System Engineer for Data Analytics Platform
Job Description
- Work with stakeholders including customers, partners and colleagues on system level technical issues for Data Analytics Platform e.g. Dataiku, Denodo, Talend, Anaconda, QlikSense
- Perform software installation on-premises and on Government cloud infrastructure
- Perform software configuration e.g. user authorization, LDAP authentication, SSO etc.
- Perform ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly and yearly patching for software and operating systems
- Monitor and report SLAs for system engineering related service requests
- Ensure compliance to data and system security standards stipulated by customers e.g. IM8
Academic Qualifications
- Recognised degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent
- Recognised professional or industrial certifications in relevant technologies or competencies
Technical Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
Technical expertise in:
- Installation and maintenance of Relational/Non-relational/NoSQL database and enterprise data warehouse
- Proficiency in installation and configuration of Dataiku, Denodo, Talend, Informatica, Anaconda, MicroStrategy, QlikSense, Kubernetes etc. will be advantageous
- Proficiency in installation and configuration of CI/CD tools e.g. GitLab, JFrog, Nexus Repository will be advantageous
- Familiarity with enterprise Kubernetes platform e.g. Redhat OpenShift will be advantageous
- Familiarity with AWS platform and services will be advantageous
- Scripting, programming and software development using e.g. Java, Python, SQL etc. for the purpose of system automation in Windows or RedHat Linux environments.
- Experience in designing, documenting, implementing and supporting data management and analytics solutions
- Knowledge of CI/CD process for machine learning, computer vision and large language models will be advantageous.
