Responsibilities:
- Involved in the project or managed services related with IT infrastructure and data centre whenever required.
- Conceives, designs, and validates new systems - CCTV and VMS (Video Management System)
- Perform system deployment, installation, configuration and testing of system/storage equipment & setup
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for network, WAN, VLAN, certificate, and security-related issues.
- Perform OS hardening, patching and updating on servers/VM
- Plan for migration, document and execute the migration plan
- Develop implementation plan, migration plan and acceptance test plan for the project.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and address the testing findings / issues
- Provide system architecture design and planning for new IT infrastructure deployments in both hosted and cloud environments
- Work closely with Project Managers in planning the implementation tasks
- Develop As-built documentation for handover
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in IT industry with at least 2 years in systems & security arena.
- Experience in system design, deployment, and configuration of CCTV and VMS (Video Management System) servers, storage, and networking infrastructure.
- Well-versed in TCP/IP protocols and network infrastructure
- In-depth knowledge in systems security issues
- Hands-on experience in security-related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, virus scanning will be an added advantage.
- IT Certification in system & storage, network, database, virtualization, cloud technologies will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills and positive working attitude.
