System Engineer (AWS / Infrastructure Support)

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a System Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to support and operate enterprise systems infrastructure. The role requires hands-on AWS experience (minimum AWS Associate certification), strong exposure to Windows Server 2019, backup infrastructure, and solid networking fundamentals.
The engineer will manage day-to-day operations, incident and change management, system performance monitoring, and service continuity planning, while providing technical guidance and supporting enterprise-grade infrastructure environments.

Mandatory Skills

• AWS hands-on experience (AWS Associate Certification - minimum)
• Strong exposure to AWS networking
• Windows Server 2019
• Backup Infrastructure

Preferred / Supporting Skills

• CCNA or Fortigate/Fortinet certification
• RedHat Linux
• Terraform

Certifications:

. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (or equivalent)
. CCNA / Fortinet certification - Advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage systems/infrastructure as per defined SLAs
• Handle system changes through formal change management processes
• Respond to incidents, perform troubleshooting, and provide permanent fixes
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
• Proactively monitor system performance and availability
• Manage system configurations and service-level reporting
• Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery plans
• Provide technical guidance to customers/project teams
• Mentor and guide junior engineers
