Job Description

Job Scope:

Design and support power and energy management systems, focusing on renewable energy and battery-related applications.
Develop and review control system logic, including PLC-based automation and system control strategies.
Oversee system integration, ensuring smooth interaction between hardware, software, and data/communication components.
Work closely with external partners and vendors to coordinate implementation, troubleshooting, and system delivery.
Analyze system performance, signals, and data to ensure efficiency, reliability, and optimization.
Support concept development and system design, translating ideas into practical engineering solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment of energy solutions.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in renewable energy, energy storage, and smart/AI-driven systems.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in power systems, preferably within renewable energy or energy storage.
Strong understanding of energy management systems and control systems (PLC/automation).
Familiarity with battery systems, power flow, and renewable energy integration (e.g. wind energy).
Basic knowledge of programming (e.g. C++ or similar) is an advantage.
Ability to understand and manage end-to-end system architecture (hardware, software, and data integration).
Experience working with vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a system-level mindset.
Exposure to AI, IoT, or smart energy systems will be an added advantage
