Our client is a Marine and Offshore Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a System Control Engineer to be part of their Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and developing electrical and automation systems for vessels.
- Prepare, interpret, and update electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Support PLC programming and configure VFDs, motor controllers, and motion control systems.
- Work with breakers, contactors, and control panels to facilitate system integration.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and vessel commissioning.
- Troubleshoot system issues under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Ensure all designs adhere to class, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering
- 1-3 years (Junior) 4-8 years (Senior) of experience in system control and industrial automation.
- Basic experience with PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting
