Role

We're looking for a hands-on Systems Administrator to own and strengthen the technology environment that keeps Libeara running securely.

This isn't just a traditional IT support role. You'll work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, endpoint security, identity and access management, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance within a fast-moving, regulated fintech environment.

You'll have meaningful ownership of our Microsoft and endpoint ecosystem, help strengthen our security posture, and work closely with technology, security, risk and compliance stakeholders as we continue to scale.

For someone who enjoys solving problems, automating repetitive work and building secure, well-run systems rather than simply maintaining them, there's plenty of room to make an impact.

Responsibilities

Own our workplace technology and endpoint environment

• Administer and optimise our Microsoft environment, including Intune, Microsoft Defender and identity/access controls
• Manage Windows and macOS endpoints, device configurations, security policies and application deployment
• Manage user identities, permissions, access provisioning and de-provisioning
• Maintain secure and reliable systems across our technology environment

Strengthen our security posture

• Manage endpoint protection, patching, vulnerability remediation and security configurations
• Monitor system health and security alerts and coordinate responses to incidents
• Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve system security, reliability and resilience

Build and automate

• Automate repetitive administration and operational processes wherever possible
• Improve device deployment, access management, monitoring and reporting workflows
• Maintain clear system configurations, runbooks and technical documentation
• Help us build technology operations that can scale as the business grows

Support cloud and infrastructure operations

• Support cloud environments across AWS and/or Azure
• Assist with network, virtualisation and containerised environments where required
• Maintain backup, recovery and business continuity processes and periodically test their effectiveness

Operate in a regulated fintech environment

• Support technology controls aligned with MAS TRM, SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Maintain evidence and documentation required for technology risk and security controls
• Work with Security, Risk, Compliance and external auditors on assessments and remediation
• Help translate regulatory and security requirements into practical technical controls

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Systems Engineer, Cloud Administrator, Endpoint Engineer or similar
• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and the Microsoft security ecosystem
• Experience managing Windows and macOS environments
• Good understanding of identity and access management, endpoint security, networking, patching and vulnerability management
• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure
• Familiarity with scripting or automation, such as PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Experience working with security or compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001 or MAS TRM would be highly advantageous
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to investigate problems independently
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Experience in fintech, financial services, digital assets or another regulated technology environment would be a plus, but isn't essential
