About the Role
We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with strong domain expertise in Retail Banking. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge across banking products and demonstrate strong analytical, documentation, and Agile delivery experience. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver high-quality banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed functional analysis across retail banking systems including Cards, Loans, Collections, Debt Restructuring, Rewards, Insurance, and Investments
- Prepare and manage comprehensive documentation including BRD, FSD, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Perform Gap Analysis and define target-state process improvements
- Design data mapping rules and conduct SQL-based data profiling
- Support UAT cycles, QA validation, and defect triaging
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting standards
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a System Analyst / Business Analyst
- Strong exposure to Retail Banking domains (Cards, Loans, Collections, Rewards, Insurance, Investments)
- Proven experience in Product Lifecycle Management
- Expertise in writing User Stories, Epics, and defining Acceptance Criteria
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience (Jira, Confluence, Figma)
- Advanced SQL skills with experience in Oracle data profiling
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance reporting frameworks
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and XML
- Exposure to Hive, DB2, and Big Data environments
