System Analyst

Job Description & Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Lead end-to-end requirement analysis, solution design, and validation workshops within the assigned domain.

• Capture and analyze business requirements by engaging stakeholders and translating business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.

• Define solution scope ensuring completeness, consistency, and cost optimization.

• Challenge stakeholders where necessary to ensure feasibility and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

2. Requirements Documentation & Process Modeling

• Formalize business requirements including:

  • Functional & Technical Specifications

  • Use Cases & User Stories

  • Business Process Mapping (As-Is & To-Be workflows)

  • Gap Analysis Documentation

• Conduct workshops, surveys, and stakeholder interviews to gather requirements.

• Maintain structured and comprehensive documentation aligned with governance standards.

3. Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Act as a bridge between Business, Development, Testing, and Architecture teams.

• Manage functional and technical design discussions for new features or system enhancements.

• Coordinate with developers on scope, planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.

• Report progress, risks, and issues escalate to Project/Delivery Manager when required.

4. Domain Expertise & Advisory

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Wealth Management / Core Banking domain.

• Provide functional consultation during client workshops and implementation projects.

• Mediate business and technical discussions and take informed decisions based on:

  • Technical feasibility

  • Economic viability

  • Business strategy

  • Regulatory requirements

  • Architectural constraints

5. Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and global market standards.

• Support solution validation against regulatory and risk management frameworks.

Requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Financial Technology domain

  • Wealth Management / Core Banking experience mandatory

  • Avaloq platform experience preferred

Technical & Domain Skills

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Financial & Global Market Regulations

  • Trading, Middle Office & Back Office operations

• Familiarity with platforms such as:

  • Bloomberg

  • Avaloq

  • FinIQ

• Strong analytical and product management capabilities.

• Experience in requirement elicitation and business process modeling.
