System Analyst

Responsibilities:

This role requires strong technical understanding of pricing and billing capabilities together with expertise in designing and implementing it in a banking environment to support various business functions.

1. Pricing and Billing Platform Roadmap

Lead end to end functional analysis for existing pricing and billing platform and capability mapping. Define the migration plan to new platform.

Define and validate technical, business requirements for the future, to-be platform. Map these into an implementation roadmap with right prioritization in mind for needs and capabilities.

2. Platform Design

Define end to end user journeys and system workflows for user and operations when interacting with pricing and billing platform. Transform them into business processes.

Define and design new platform capabilities considering all requirements and market best practices. Areas of design expertise are inclusive of:

Customer pricing management: Pricing setup & maintenance, customer deal pricing, pricing calculation, discounts, waivers & rebates, pricing approval workflow, data management & audit.

Billing & Settlement: Fee Accrual & Charge Events, Invoice/Statementing, Receivables & Settlement, GL & Posting, Reconciliations & Controls, Reporting & MI.

3. Technical Architecture & Leadership

Work closely with solution architects and define requirements and solutions around input and output, security & control, non-functional, interface and data requirements.

Define integration specifications and event models for the platform's integration points across the bank across various technologies, API, batch processing, event driven architectures.

Support the overall platform design to achieve scalability, resilience, fault tolerance, and regulatory compliance.

4. Delivery & Engineering Support

Lead analysis workstreams across development squads during delivery.

Provide precise, development ready clarifications and specifications to developers related to the platform and its integrations.

Support QA in designing and executing tests.

Requirements:
. 7-12 years as systems analysis with strong experience in Pricing and Billing Platforms in a banking environment from scratch.

. Proven experience designing capabilities of this platform, and its integration with various banking systems.

. Strong engineering/technical skills in API Design, batch processing, microservices architecture and sequence diagram modelling.

. Good understanding of banking products, services, their pricing and invoicing processes.
