System Administrator-Middleware

Description

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator specializing in middleware technologies to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Java applications, middleware servers, and various integration techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain middleware applications including JBOSS and WebSphere.
• Implement and support REST/SOAP web services integrations.
• Handle message queuing using IBM MQ and Connect Direct.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation in Shell on Linux/Unix environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes are optimized.
• Perform database management tasks using SQL Server, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to middleware components and integrations.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in system administration with a focus on middleware technologies.
• Proficiency in Java and Java-based middleware like JBOSS and WebSphere.
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services, with experience in XML and JSON data formats.
• Experience with IBM MQ and Connect Direct for messaging solutions.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server database management and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies to support automated deployments.
