System Administrator

Responsibilities

- Responsible for Server Administration, server monitoring and server change control

- Responsible for Workstations Administration (user support, trouble shoot, and proactive improvement)

- Provide L2 service for network-connected storage products we distribute

- Handling new projects to enhance and improve network/security environments.

- To ensure that IT systems, workstations and applications within our organization meet the needs of the business while adhering to security best-practices, compliance and regulatory requirements.

- Troubleshoot and support LAN (wired and WiFi), Internet and telephony

- Procurement of required hardware, software and licenses

- Data backup scheduling and restore verification, security patching, anti-virus, system monitoring etc.

Requirements

- IT related Diploma/Degree equivalent

- 4 years experience managing a Windows Server architecture including Active Directory

- 3 years experience managing Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) servers

- Solid understanding of Networking & Network Storage technologies

- Solid understanding of Virtualized environments

- ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage
