Job Description
- Proactively originate and execute new financing opportunities by:
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with potential clients
- Leveraging an established network of sponsors, corporates, and financial institutions
- Conducting market research and analysis of industry trends
- Review and provide support for extending loans to various industrial sectors, including:
- Conducting due diligence and Preparing Credit applications for the internal Credit Committee
- Support client onboarding activities by providing guidance on KYC and internal onboarding requirements
- Managing all aspects of execution, from loan documentation, drawdown to monitoring
- Arrange syndicated loans and execute necessary procedures, including:
- Liaising with relevant parties for the preparation of financing documents
- Negotiating terms with borrowers and coordinating financing with other banks
- Leading in due diligence and negotiation of commercial and financing agreements
- Arranging relevant services for the execution, management, and monitoring of financing
- Oversee and manage the loan portfolio throughout the lifespan of the transactions including:
- Managing various requests from borrowers (e.g., amendments, waivers) as needed
- Provide support and coordinate closely with team members including:
- Actively contributing to planning of the bank's business operations and strategies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- Min 7 years of working experiences in investment banking including corporate financing, project financing and structured financing
- Strong track record of independently sourcing deals, driving end-to-end transaction processes, and building sustainable client relationships
- Strong understanding of financials and financial analysis, modelling skills
- Professional certification such as CFA or CPA is an advantage
- Solid understanding of the functional aspects of credit lending, risk assessment, syndicated financing, debt restructuring, and familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines
- Ability to use relevant tools and analytical methods necessary to perform tasks effectively
- Positive attitude with good teamwork and stakeholder management capabilities
- Highly motivated, fast learner, and able to carry forward given tasks independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Familiarity and experience with ECA backed financing and other agency financing would be an advantage
