Job Description

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain Sybase databases, ensuring high availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
  • Perform database performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and troubleshooting slow-running queries.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support Java-based applications, ensuring efficient database interaction and performance.
  • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
  • Analyze system performance metrics and proactively identify bottlenecks, recommending improvements across database and application layers.
  • Automate routine DBA tasks and support deployments, upgrades, and patching activities in production and non-production environments.
