As a Swap Trader - Executive Director in the Singapore Rates Trading team, you will market-make Japanese Yen Single Currency and Cross Currency Swaps, manage associated risks, and collaborate with Sales and Research to deliver innovative solutions. You will help develop and lead a high-performing trading desk, contributing to our established market leadership in APAC and globally.

Job Responsibilities

• Market-make Japanese Yen Single Currency and Cross Currency Swaps
• Perform associated risk management for swap products
• Interact with Sales and clients to provide pricing, trade ideas, and market color
• Manage and develop the trading desk, mentoring Vice President and junior traders
• Collaborate with Research to generate innovative ideas and contribute to the secondary market
• Monitor market trends and regulatory developments impacting swaps
• Ensure compliance with internal limits and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate trade records and support post-trade processes
• Uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Minimum 5 years experience in Japanese Yen Swaps Trading or similar role with strong track record
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
• Strong analytical ability and quantitative skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
• High level of integrity and ethical standards

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Master's degree or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, FRM)
• Experience with electronic trading platforms and algorithmic strategies

• Familiarity with cross-asset trading and derivatives

• Experience in mentoring and developing junior talent
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to Singapore and Asia-Pacific markets
