Job Role

The Senior Vice President, End User Collaborative Services Engineering, is responsible for the strategy, architecture, engineering, innovation, and lifecycle management of DBS enterprise end user and collaboration productivity platforms.

The role leads the engineering function for End User Collaborative Services (EUCS), ensuring secure, resilient, scalable, and future-ready services that enable employees to communicate, collaborate, and leverage AI-powered capabilities effectively. The incumbent will drive platform modernization across Endpoint services, M365 Collaboration Services, Mobility service Meeting Room Technologies, Digital Workplace services, and Agentic AI capabilities while maintaining high operational standards, regulatory compliance, and service excellence.

Reporting to the Executive Director, End User Collaborative Services, the role will lead engineering teams, establish technical standards, manage strategic vendor relationships, and define the future roadmap for workplace collaboration technologies across DBS.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Technology Leadership

• Define and own the End User Collaborative Services engineering roadmap and technology strategy.
• Drive transformation initiatives across enterprise end user collaboration, mobility, workplace productivity, and AI-powered employee experience platforms.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and develop adoption plans aligned with DBS business and technology objectives.
• Establish engineering standards, reference architectures, and platform governance frameworks.
• Lead technology lifecycle management, modernization programs, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
  
  

Platform Engineering Ownership

• Own engineering and technical direction for:
• Life cycle of end point standard and set standard operating environment on Windows and MacOS
• Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive)
• Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM)
• Mobility platforms (iOS, Android)
• Microsoft Copilot and Agentic AI capabilities
• Teams Rooms and Meeting Room Technologies
• Webinar and Large Event platforms
• Compliance and recording platforms supporting collaboration services
  

Architecture & Design

• Provide architectural leadership for end user collaboration and productivity platforms.
• Lead platform design reviews and major technical decisions.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as technical escalation authority for critical platform issues and major incidents.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Risk teams on strategic initiatives.
  
  

Engineering Delivery

• Lead engineering teams delivering strategic projects and Book of Work commitments.
• Oversee solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
• Drive automation, self-service, platform simplification, and operational efficiency.
• Govern platform upgrades, technology refresh programs, and vendor-led enhancements.
  
  

AI & Digital Workplace Innovation

• Drive adoption of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Agents, and Generative AI capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve employee productivity through automation and AI.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to build AI-enabled workplace solutions.
• Develop governance and engineering standards for AI-powered workplace capabilities.
  
  

Risk, Security & Compliance

• Ensure platforms comply with DBS security standards, regulatory requirements, and technology risk policies.
• Lead audit remediation, risk mitigation, and security enhancement initiatives.
• Govern platform resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.
• Oversee vulnerability remediation and platform hardening programs.
  
  

Vendor & Financial Management

• Manage strategic relationships with key technology partners.
• Support technology budgeting, investment planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Build business cases for strategic investments and modernization programs.
  
  

Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering organization.
• Coach and mentor engineering leaders and technical specialists.
• Build succession pipelines and strengthen engineering capabilities.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
  
  

Requirements

• 12+ years of technology leadership experience in Workplace Technology, End User Computing, Collaboration Services, or Digital Workplace functions.
• Proven experience leading large-scale engineering teams in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and related collaboration technologies.
• Experience driving workplace transformation, cloud adoption, and digital employee experience initiatives.
• Experience managing technology vendors and strategic partnerships.
• Banking or highly regulated industry experience preferred.
