To Assess relevant financial statements of corporates in the syndication market to examine the viability of participation in the facility, Appraisal of limits of syndicated loans.
Assessing risks and putting up proposals for consideration of Credit Committees for sanction or recommendation of limits / credit facilities to companies under syndication along with Credit Risk Assessment.
Presentation of Syndication originated proposals to Credit Committees.
Attend road shows -arranged for various companies (both India Based and Foreign entities) subsequent follow up with other MLAs, participants related to syndicated loans.
Work closely with Merchant Banking team at Head office for syndicated loans originating from India
Maintain liaison and collect necessary credit information from international banks, local banks and India based banks operating in Singapore or abroad in relation to processing of syndicated deals.
Monitor the collection, distribution and sharing of fee by the bank on the syndicated deals from the MLAs, participants, counterparts and SBI branches/representative offices.
Carrying out timely annual review /Renewal of loans
Recommending appropriate waivers and amendments in the terms of sanction, as sought by the borrower(s) and /or other banks, as per advices received from Credit Administration Division
Provide support in relation to periodical audit, annual closing and other similar exercises
Contribute to the credit team in the formulation and implementation of SBI Singapore's loan policy.
Liaise with Treasury / Accounts / Finance / Credit admin / Credit Risk Management team to get regular updates on reference rates, cost of funds, yields, exposure levels, sectoral outlook.
Submission of Action Taken Reports and final closure of observations related to pre-sanction processes made by various auditors - MAS, Internal, Statutory Audit, I &MA- rectification of audit related irregularities, if applicable
Efforts to improve RORWA of the Credit/ Syndication portfolio.
Requirements :
Qualification: Graduation or equivalent, preference will be given to those who have done courses related to Banking/Credit/Risk management.
Minimum Banking experience of continuous 20 years, out of which minimum 07 years should be in Credit area.
Candidates having experience in credit analysis will be given preference
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
Sound Knowledge of banking/ financial products in field of credit.
Dynamic personality who is ready to work as a team and provide guidance to others.
Good trading and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and inter- personal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and top management
Sound knowledge of Microsoft applications : Excel/Word/PowerPoint
