Lead and/or manage sustainability and energy transition projects, including carbon accounting, target setting, net-zero roadmaps, carbon credits, Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), carbon policies, and carbon project development.
Manage project delivery by coordinating resources, schedules, subcontractors, budgets, and risks to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
Prepare and contribute to proposals, bids, and technical submissions for new sustainability and energy transition projects.
Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, actively sharing knowledge, insights, and best practices with colleagues.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 25 years of relevant experience in the execution of sustainability, decarbonisation, or carbon development projects.
Knowledge and Skills
Familiarity with sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks and standards.
Strong understanding of emerging sustainability, carbon market trends, standards, and policies.
Working knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies and the GHG Protocol.
Experience or knowledge in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Science-Based Target (SBT) setting.
Understanding of climate-related risks, opportunities, and resilience assessments.
Knowledge of nature-based solutions and carbon credit project development.
Exposure to Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) processes and supply chains.
Understanding of green hydrogen supply chains and the broader energy sector.
Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage effectively with clients, government agencies, and partners.
High attention to detail, with strong analytical, presentation, and technical writing capabilities.
