This financial institution has a clear mandate in driving its Sustainability agenda and is attracting passionate talent in doing a greater good for sustainable future. It is now hiring a dynamic Sustainability Director.

Responsibilities

Reporting to Chief Sustainability Officer, you will be part of a dynamic team to champion sustainability agenda for the company. You will shape and deliver strategic sustainability priorities across the Group. You will drive transformation to embed sustainability into the business through strong engagement with Boards, senior executives, and markets. You will help steer execution, provide strategic judgement, and ensure that sustainability initiatives are aligned with business imperatives. You will work across business units and corporate functions to identify opportunities for sustainability, executing relevant programs and meeting sustainability standards. You will drive programs to improve sustainability awareness and work with different divisions of the company in promoting sustainability culture and integration.

Requirements

Ideally, you are a seasoned sustainability practitioner and possess strong understanding of current trends in sustainability and ESG matters. You possess proven experience in leading transformation projects with strong program leadership capabilities and hands-on experience in project delivery, performance management, or strategy execution roles. Financial services experience will be advantageous. You possess the passion to drive to build strong sustainability culture towards sustainable change.
