Role Overview:

The SustainabilityBusiness Development Manager will play a key role in expanding our client base and strengthening market presence in the sustainability and energy transition sectors. You will identify new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and collaborate with our technical team to develop and promote tailored sustainability solutions that address clients Sustainability and Green Energy Transition needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the firm's client portfolio in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
  2. Identify and pursue new opportunities in sustainability consulting, including carbon accounting, net-zero strategies, ESG reporting, and renewable energy advisory.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  4. Prepare and deliver business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  5. Collaborate with technical consultants to design solutions aligned with client sustainability goals.
  6. Stay updated on sustainability trends, government initiatives (e.g. Singapore Green Plan, carbon tax, RE100), and industry developments to inform business strategy.
  7. Support marketing efforts, including events, webinars, and content creation to enhance brand visibility.
  8. Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in environmental science, Business, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
  • 35 years of experience in business development, sustainability consulting, or corporate sales roles.
  • Good understanding of ESG, carbon management, renewable energy (Solar), and sustainability frameworks and energy efficiency.
  • Good communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
