Role and introduction

CSRWorks International is a boutique-style sustainability consulting, assurance, and training firm headquartered in Singapore, working with clients across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and the United States. We support organisations on sustainability strategy, reporting, climate action, sustainability ratings, and assurance.

We are hiring Sustainability Associates to join our consulting team. This role is suited for professionals with 2-3 years of relevant experience who are ready to take on greater responsibility, increased client interaction, and ownership of defined project workstreams.

You will work closely with senior consultants on live client engagements, contribute to high-quality client deliverables, and support the development of junior team members. CSRWorks is a Certified Great Place to Work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sustainability consulting engagements across reporting, climate and carbon management, sustainability ratings, and assurance

• Take ownership of assigned project components, timelines, and deliverables

• Conduct structured research on sustainability standards, regulations, and best practices

• Collect, validate, analyse, and interpret data for client disclosures and assessments

• Draft and review sections of sustainability reports, presentations, and client materials

• Review and provide feedback on work prepared by Sustainability Analysts

• Participate in client meetings, discussions, and workshops

• Support project coordination, quality control, and delivery timelines

• Collaborate effectively with team members across projects and geographies

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who combine strong fundamentals with growing professional maturity.

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, climate, GHG accounting, sustainability consulting, sustainability ratings, ISO Standards consulting or directly related fields

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline

• Practical exposure to one or more of the following: Sustainability reporting, assurance and verification, Sustainability ratings and disclosures (e.g. EcoVadis, CDP), Climate reporting or GHG accounting, SA8000 consulting, or Human Rights Risk Assessment

• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills

• Ability to structure complex information clearly and communicate insights through written and presentation materials

• High attention to detail and quality standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Comfort using digital tools familiarity with responsible use of AI is an advantage

• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and work to deadlines

• Confidence working with global clients and internal teams

• Willingness to work with clients and teams across different time zones when required
