We are seeking an experienced Surgical Vet Nurse to join our Client's team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and extensive experience in surgical nursing, providing high-quality support to veterinarians during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Monitor patients vital signs during surgery
• Administer anesthesia and medications as instructed by the veterinarian
• Provide post-operative care and support to animals
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Educate pet owners on post-surgical care and recovery
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the clinic

Skills and Qualifications

• 6-16 years of experience in veterinary nursing or a related field
• Certification as a veterinary technician or nurse
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols
• Proficiency in administering anesthesia and monitoring patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
