Application Support Engineer Commodities - Singapore
We're looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to support and enhance commodities trading platforms within a front-office technology environment. This is a business-facing role with close interaction across trading, risk, and analytics teams.
What You'll Do
- Support and improve trading systems across front-, middle-, and back-office functions
- Work closely with traders and analysts to resolve issues and improve system performance
- Partner with global technology teams on stability and reliability initiatives
- Manage integrations with internal platforms and external vendors
- Use automation, monitoring, and documentation to improve production workflows
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience supporting commodities systems in trading environments
- Strong understanding of energy and commodities markets
- Experience with commodities trading or risk platforms and market data feeds
- Solid SQL skills and Python experience for automation and integration
- Exposure to Linux-based systems and compiled languages
- Strong troubleshooting skills with clear, confident communication
