Job Description

Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to support end-to-end supply chain operations across Singapore to support ASCC Affiliates, including procurement coordination, 3PL operations & inventory management, sales order fulfilment, shipping & logistics. The role ensures smooth and timely supply and distribution through effective coordination with suppliers, regional affiliates, freight forwarders, 3PL partners and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Coordinate directly with operational and product suppliers on purchase orders, confirmations, production schedules, lead times, shipment arrangements, and delivery status. Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, and procurement records.

  • Inventory & 3PL Management: Monitor and follow up on stock-on-hand across 3PL warehouses. Coordinate receiving, storage, stock movements, drumming, blending, and dispatch activities with 3PL partners to ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.

  • Logistics & Shipping Operations: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments involving bulk solvents, ISO tanks, and drummed products. Monitor ETD/ETA, customs clearance, delivery status, and ensure all shipping and logistics documentation is complete and available on time.

  • Regional Affiliate Support: Coordinate sales orders and order confirmations for regional affiliates across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Indonesia. Provide timely updates on order and shipment status.

  • Reporting & Innovation: Prepare supply chain reports and KPIs covering inventory levels, delivery lead times, order accuracy, shipment status, and logistics performance. Analyse operational issues to recommend practical solutions that improve efficiency.

  • Workplace Health & Safety: Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of solvent and chemical products in accordance with hazardous/dangerous goods (DG) requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations.

  • Industry Background: Experience in the chemical, solvent, petrochemical, commodity trading, or industrial distribution industry is strongly preferred.

  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of hazardous/dangerous goods (DG) handling, chemical storage, maritime shipping terminology, and Incoterms® 2020. Experience with bulk liquid transportation, ISO tanks, drumming, or blending operations is a major advantage.

  • Systems: Proficient in typical software and comfortable working with inventory/supply chain data experience with ERP or supply chain management systems is preferred.

  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-tasking capabilities, and robust problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
