About the Team
The Supply Chain Global Solutions and Services team is looking for a Sourcing Manager to develop & manage 3rd party resources for IDC Hardware related Professional Services, which includes but not limited to the services of warehousing, logistics, brokerage, decommission, hardware repair, etc.
The individual we're looking for would be an experienced commercial role in their current position, and willing to explore the working experience in a fast growing business. They will work closely with local/regional teams, to lead and drive sourcing tasks such as Supplier Recruitment, Contractual Management, Cost Management, etc.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Responsible for supply chain related services sourcing tasks in US and EU regions.
2. Supporting local/regional operational teams for service requests verification, service solutions alignment.
3. Setup sourcing plans & rules for assigned commodity, ensure the rules compliance and plans aligned with sourcing director.
4. Leading supplier recruitment, organizing internal team for RFI, RFQ, RFP.
5. End to end supplier & contractual management from NDA to business termination settlement.
6. Leading role of assigned commodity cost management includes price evaluation & negotiation, budget plan and consumption follow up, regular billing/payment review, etc.
7. Other commercial responsibilities such as hosting regular business meetings, dispute negotiations, supplier audit & risk management, etc.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in a commercial field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of working experience in supply chain and logistics management and/or commercial type of roles.
- Knowledge of and sourcing experience in Warehousing, Logistics, and Professional Services is required.
- Knowledge of finance and tax is necessary to perform budget- and cost-related tasks.
- Proven ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Self-driven, adaptable to a multicultural environment, with a strong sense of ethics and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA background will be a plus
- Knowledge of Data Center and Infrastructure and/or Data Center Services will be a plus
- Import/Export brokerage sourcing experience is a plus
