About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, optimal inventory levels, and seamless coordination between production, sales, and logistics functions to support business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily supply chain and logistics operations within the manufacturing facility
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods to meet production and customer requirements
- Oversee inventory management systems to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent disruptions
- Work closely with Production, Sales, and Procurement teams to align supply and demand planning
- Monitor and control logistics costs, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution expenses
- Analyse inventory and sales data to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency
- Manage relationships with external vendors, logistics providers, and service partners
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and operational procedures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, chemical, or process industry supply chain/logistics roles
- Strong experience in inventory control, production coordination, and logistics operations
- Familiar with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
