Job Description

PRIMARYFUNCTION:

The Supply Chain Executive (Procurement)is responsible for executing day-to-day procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials, components, and serviceable parts. The role supports inventory optimization, cost efficiency, and operational continuity. The Executive works closely with the Supply Chain Operations Lead for daily operational guidance and coordination, while reporting directly to the Procurement & Logistics Manager. The role provides operational data, supplier performance insights, and support S&OP planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Execution

. Plan, analyze, source, negotiate, and purchase spares, components, and serviceable parts from approved suppliers to meet production, inventory, and customer turnaround time (TAT) requirements.

. Issue and follow up on RFQs with suppliers and vendors.

. Review quotations, prepare recommendations, and administer purchase orders, contracts, and service agreements.

. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.

. Expedite deliveries and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of materials.

. Identify and source alternative solutions or serviceable components to optimize turnaround time (TAT) and cost efficiency.

2. Supplier& Vendor Management

. Maintain and manage approved vendor listings continuously source competitive vendors to reduce cost and lead time.

. Mitigate single-source risks by expanding and developing the vendor base.

. Liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies and material-related issues promptly.

. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, documentation compliance, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

3. Inventory Support & Optimization

. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Lead to support stock optimization, timely replenishment, and minimal excess or obsolete stock.

. Support cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and follow-up on discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.

. Identify non-moving or excess stock and escalate potential issues to the Manager.

. Provide operational insights during material reviews to support S&OP and production planning decisions.

4. Operational Reporting & Analytics

. Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

. Prepare reports and dashboards on open purchase orders, supplier TAT and performance, inventory status, and critical materials shortages, in coordination with the Lead.

. Provide data and insights to support S&OP planning and operational decision-making.

5. Compliance& Cross-Functional Collaboration

. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements(FAA, EASA, CAAS), and documentation standards.

. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Production, Quality, and Finance, to ensure seamless repair operations.

. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager to ensure operational continuity.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

. Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline (Bachelor's preferred).

. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in repair operations, or supply chain execution.

. Experience managing suppliers, subcontract vendor, and sourcing serviceable components.

. Exposure to repair inventory management, cycle counts or stock take activities.

. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Quantum Controls) and Microsoft Excel.

. Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or other reporting tools preferred.

. Understanding of aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, CAAS) related to repair operations preferred.

. Familiarity with documentation control, traceability, and compliance within a regulated environment.
