They ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services while aligning the supply chain strategy with business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the supply chain strategy to support business objectives.
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
- Monitor supply chain performance, KPIs, and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and distribution partners.
- Identify risks and implement solutions for supply chain disruptions.
- Lead and mentor supply chain managers, planners, and logistics teams.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and sales teams to optimize processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Extensive experience in supply chain management, operations, or logistics leadership.
- Knowledge of procurement, inventory management, and distribution strategies.
Skills & Tools- Supply Chain Tools: SAP SCM, Oracle SCM, Microsoft Dynamics, WMS, TMS.
- Analytics & Reporting: Excel, Power BI, Tableau, supply chain KPIs.
- Leadership & Management: Team leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
