About the Role
Cragar is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to serve as the vital link between suppliers, customers, and internal production teams. This role ensures smooth communication, accurate inventory monitoring, and efficient Kanban system management to support timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor & Supplier Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers regarding delivery schedules, order confirmations, and issue resolution.
- Negotiate and follow up on lead times, ensuring timely and accurate supply of materials.
Customer Order & Kanban System Monitoring
- Track customer orders and update status reports to ensure transparency and reliability.
- Monitor and manage customer Kanban systems, ensuring replenishment cycles are aligned with production and delivery schedules.
Internal Inventory & Production Coordination
- Oversee in-house inventory levels, ensuring materials availability for production.
- Collaborate with production teams to align output with customer demand and supplier deliveries.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in production flow and supply chain processes.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare regular reports on supplier performance, inventory status, and Kanban metrics.
- Support lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in supply chain coordination, vendor management, or production planning (manufacturing background preferred).
- Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills for supplier and customer interactions. Proficiency in inventory management systems and Kanban methodologies. Analytical mindset with ability to interpret supply chain data and resolve issues quickly.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
- Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
