Supplier Quality Management Engineer (Automotive/ 6 months contract)

Responsibilities

• Lead or support qualification of new components and requalification activities (e.g., Product Change Notifications) in line with companys Product Life Cycle and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes.
• Plan, initiate, and oversee advanced quality measures during the design and development phases to ensure supplier components meet all technical and quality requirements.
• Work closely with global and cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Engineering, Project Management, Local SQM, Customer Quality, and Logistic.
• Participate in the review of corrective actions from VDA 6.3 audits, with a strong focus on early involvement and preventive measures.
• Contribute to lessons learned and best practice sharing across the category, organization, and supplier base.
