Job Summary

Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Industry: Semiconductor / Electronics Testing
Location: Serangoon, Singapore
Working Hours: 5 days/week, 8:30am-5:30pm
Benefits: AWS + Performance Bonus + Overtime

Main Responsibilities

Conducting technical assessments for new suppliers and periodic assessments for key existing suppliers.
Driving suppliers to implement continuous improvement plans and meet quality requirements.
Reviewing material specifications and validating defects / non-conformities for supplier return and replacement.
Working with suppliers on 8D corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborating with Suppliers, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve material quality issues.
Maintaining supplier databases and performance evaluations / scoring.
Supporting and guiding Incoming Quality Inspectors on inspection processes and methods.

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of Supplier Quality experience.
Experience with mechanical parts or PCBA candidates with experience in both are preferred.
Good knowledge of quality and problem-solving tools, including:
8D
Pareto Analysis
5 Whys
FMEA
Quality Control Plan
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Independent, proactive, willing to learn, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working with diverse cultures and suppliers.
