The F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality standards, and supervising service staff to deliver a smooth dining experience. The role supports the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational efficiency, sales targets, and compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
Supervise daily front-of-house and service operations.
Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and service staff.
Monitor service standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist in opening and closing of the restaurant.
Supervise, train, and guide service staff and junior team members.
Prepare staff duty rosters and manage manpower deployment.
Ensure staff follow company SOPs and service procedures.
Conduct basic performance monitoring and provide feedback.
Ensure guests receive prompt and professional service.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback.
Maintain a welcoming and positive dining environment.
Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
Assist in stock ordering and inventory checks.
Minimise wastage and ensure proper storage procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Follow local regulatory requirements (e.g. SFA food safety guidelines).
Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas.
Support the team in achieving sales targets.
Upsell menu items and promotions.
Monitor daily sales performance and operational efficiency.
Minimum 2-3 years experience in F&B or hospitality industry
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays
Basic knowledge of food hygiene and service standards
