SUPERVISOR

Job Description:

1. Oversee daily operations of all residential and commercial moving projects to ensure on-time completion.
2. Coordinate moving schedules, assign tasks to moving crews and allocate manpower and materials properly
3. Inspect loading and unloading processes to guarantee correct handling of furniture, appliances and fragile items
4. Communicate directly with clients to confirm moving details, address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Train new moving team members on packing techniques, workplace safety protocols and company policies
6. Monitor the condition of moving equipment (trucks, dollies, packing tools) and arrange routine maintenance
7. Enforce workplace safety standards and respond to on-site accidents or unexpected issues promptly
8. Track project costs, complete daily work logs and submit regular operation reports to senior management
9. Conduct pre-move site assessments to estimate workload, required materials and needed manpower
10. Resolve customer complaints and service disputes to protect the company's brand reputation

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 year of supervisory experience in moving, logistics or customer-focused service industry

2. Solid knowledge of safe packing, lifting and handling techniques for various household and commercial goods

3. Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team of 3-8 moving crew members to meet service targets

4. Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively

5. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

6. Familiarity with moving truck safety regulations and basic equipment maintenance requirements

7. Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected issues like route changes or minor property damage

8. High school diploma or GED valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred

9. Basic computer literacy to complete digital work logs, update schedules and submit operation reports

10. Customer-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality service
