Supervisor (Pipe Work & Steel Work)

MarineConstruction Supervise Site Operations: Oversee daily work on-site, managingboth sub-contractors and in-house workers to ensure tasks are completed on timeand to the required standard.

WorkPlace: In Shipyards & Workshops

EnsureSafety Compliance: Make sure all safety protocols are followed, and all workerscomply with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.

Coordinatethe Project: Work closely with the project manager and other teams to keep theproject on track and meet deadlines.

MonitorWork Quality: Check the quality of work and ensure it meets the projectspecifications and industry standards.

ManageWorkers: Provide clear instructions to workers, resolve issues, and ensureresources are used effectively.

Report Progress:Keep accurate records of daily activities, material usage, and site conditions.Report progress to the project manager. Work Done Reports and QC Reports to prepare, compile for invoicing

EnsureTimely Completion: Manage the work schedule to avoid delays and ensure work isfinished on time.

LeadToolbox Meetings: Conduct daily meetings to discuss work priorities, safety,and any updates with the team.

ConductSite Inspections: Regularly inspect the site to ensure work follows theconstruction plans and report any issues.

Coordinatewith Contractors: Work with external contractors and vendors to ensure timelydelivery of materials and services.

SolveProblems: Address and resolve any issues that arise on-site, such as delays orsafety concerns.

MaintainEquipment: Ensure all equipment and tools are in good condition and report anyproblems to management.

ManageSubcontractors: Oversee subcontractors work to make sure it meets theproject's standards and deadlines.

Communicatewith Clients: Keep clients and stakeholders updated on progress and address anyconcerns they may have.

Requirements:-

• Experience:At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Marine Shipyard preferably in asupervisory role.
• Skills:Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to solve problemsand manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge:Experience in structural steel work is a plus.
• PhysicalFitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of working on-site.
• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & AutoCAD
• Able to work independently
