Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Food Manufacturing Supervisor to manage and oversee the daily operations of our food production facility. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining product quality, and enforcing food safety standards across all operations.

The position requires a hands-on individual with strong leadership abilities, good problem-solving skills, and practical experience in food manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure operational efficiency and product quality
• Supervise, guide, and support production workers to maintain productivity and teamwork
• Ensure production targets and schedules are achieved within required timelines
• Monitor compliance with food hygiene, safety, and quality standards including HACCP and GMP requirements
• Conduct regular checks on production processes and address any operational issues promptly
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain proper documentation for production records, inventory, and staff attendance/performance
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and enhance operational processes
• Ensure workplace safety procedures are properly followed by all staff members
• Report production updates, challenges, and improvement plans to management

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or other related disciplines
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing, processing, or production environment
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices such as HACCP and GMP
• Strong communication, leadership, and manpower management skills
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Familiarity with food production equipment and basic maintenance coordination is an advantage
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
• Willing to work shifts or flexible hours when operationally required
