We are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Japanese Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations. The successful candidate will ensure smooth service flow, uphold authentic Japanese dining standards, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Supervise daily operations of the Japanese restaurant, including front-of-house service
Ensure high standards of customer service and handle customer feedback professionally
Maintain food quality, presentation, and hygiene in accordance with SFA/NEA regulations
Coordinate closely with kitchen staff (e.g., sushi chefs, kitchen team) for timely service
Train and guide service staff on Japanese dining etiquette and service standards
Manage staff scheduling and manpower planning
Ensure cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas
Monitor inventory and assist with stock ordering, including Japanese ingredients
Enforce workplace safety and company policies
Prepare daily sales and operational reports
Minimum secondary education or relevant hospitality certification
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a Japanese restaurant or F&B environment
Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and dining etiquette is preferred
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsible, well-organized, and proactive
6-day work week
44 hours per week
Flexible shift arrangement
Must be willing to work night shifts
Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays when required
