Supervisor

A Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a retail store or department, ensuring excellent customer service, supporting sales targets, and supervising retail staff.

Job Scope:

• Supervise daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Lead and manage retail staff, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and training.
• Deliver excellent customer service by handling customer enquiries, complaints, and resolving issues professionally.
• Monitor sales performance and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, replenishing merchandise, conducting stock counts, and reporting discrepancies.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company guidelines.
• Handle cash and point-of-sale (POS) operations, including cash reconciliation and ensuring accurate transactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
• Prepare work schedules and manage staff attendance, leave, and shift arrangements.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new employees where required.
• Generate reports on sales, inventory, and store performance for management review.
• Support promotional campaigns and implement marketing activities in the store.

Requirement:

• Experience in retail, with experience in a supervisory or team leader role preferred.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
