About the role - you will:

The Supervisor II is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role leads and develops a team of manufacturing staff and supports continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet productivity, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor production schedules and manpower planning to ensure timely delivery of production targets.
  • Lead, guide, and motivate a team of manufacturing specialists to achieve operational goals.
  • Provide coaching, on-the-job training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and manage staff discipline in accordance with company policies.
  • Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices such as Kaizen and 6S to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Quality, Maintenance) to resolve production issues.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health regulations, and company policies.
  • Promote a safe, orderly, and disciplined work environment.

About you:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Your experience includes:

  • Diploma in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.
  • Minimum relevant experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment or knowledge of cleanroom is preferred
